My name is Kristine Koval, I am an award winning artist and I am a passionate clay sculptor with a deep appreciation for the art of molding and shaping what comes to mind during my sleepless nights. My journey into the world of clay sculpture began with a fascination for creativity during my early childhood, which eventually evolved decades later into a recent commitment to sharing what’s in my mind.

Growing up, I was always drawn to the tactile nature of creating objects with my hands. It wasn't until I attended a local art workshop that I discovered the profound satisfaction and limitless possibilities of working with clay. I found that I could better express my thoughts through my hands.  The workshop ignited a spark within me, propelling me to explore and experiment with this versatile medium.

Over the past two years, I have honed my skills through countless hours of practice, enlisting in a beginner class at the local extension, and dedication. My work is inspired by my thoughts, spiritual faith, nature, human emotions, and the intricate patterns found in everyday life. Each piece I create tells its own story, capturing a moment, a feeling, or a fragment of the world that lies in my mind.

As I continue to grow and evolve as an artist, I am constantly seeking new techniques and approaches to push the boundaries of my craft and further articulate my emotions and visions.  I am grateful for the support and encouragement of my family, friends and my faith in God that has allowed me to create the inspirations that flow from my mind into my hands.

Through my clay sculptures, I aim to share joy, wonder, and a sense of connection with those who experience my work. It is my hope that each piece resonates with viewers, sparking their imagination and inviting them to appreciate the beauty and depth of this timeless art form.
